Well, it's now a bit after 8 pm. Went and got the Sam's Club card renewed for another year, looked for some gloves for the husband, and then came home to watch football. What a batch of games!
Is everyone doing ok? Just wondering......
Good morning, folks! Hope you all had a good day yesterday, and have an even better tomorrow. Yeah, I know tomorrow is Monday......
Grandma, FYI, we are supposed to have temps creep up a bit, so maybe you will have some warmer weather, too.
Hppy, make sure that your son gets that report done!
Not quite sure what I am going to be up to today. Probably do some cleaning here---the Bird gave me some incentive. Maybe we'll go renew our Sam's Club card, too.
Till later, as I need some coffee.

We are good - back to the grind tomorrow. BTW my alzheimers/Downs patient went into the hospital last Wednesday with pneumonia. I'll find out what's next for him tomorrow. My son's report is almost done and we have a very busy week ahead what with work, school, scouts, etc....
Peace and Namaste

I almost wonder if your patient isn't starting to progess towards the final stages of AD. I am trying to remember what I learned in that PESI class I took over a year ago.
That's exactly what a Down's Syndrome expert told me last week. I've just never seen one go so fast. But the pathophysiology of AD w/Down's starts earlier and goes faster than with the general population. It's just sad because he's only 57 and the family is insisting on heroic measures and I just see him stuck on machines with a feeding tube for several years down the line. Of course he won't be my problem but I still feel for him. He really is a very sweet man.

Of course, he'd be even worse off with the GT, etc. *SIGH*
BTW, check out their site, as End Stage Diseases: Care When There is No Cure Seminar may be offered again.
