Hi! I'm fairly new here and have a question. I have decided to take nursing and was scheduled for a nursing pre-enterance exam. How hard is this exam? Has anyone taken it fairly recently? I've been out of college for about 20 years and I worry how difficult this exam will be for me.
Thanks!
Steph

Many schools use a standard exam called the NET -- nursing entrance test. It consists of basic algebra and english (reading/comprehension). There is a book out there called how to pass the NET I believe and it was helpful for me. You don't have to buy this book, but I would review some math before taking the exam. Your counselor should be able to help you with more information or you can also search online about NET exam. Good luck!
If you are good in math and english you should do well. Both math and english are high school level. Not sure if they have books you can borrow at a library (like the ones for entrance to medical school) but it is worth a try. Good luck
