I finished school in August and passed the NCLEX at the beginning of October. What helped me was doing a bunch of questions...I did around 200 a day, sometimes more for about a month. Mosby's review cards were very helpful, they come in a box and on each card there are 3 questions with the answers and explanations on the back of the card. You can take them anywhere with you and when you have any dead time do a couple. I also did questions out of a regular review book for NCLEX. Just make sure that you read and understand every answer and explanation. Look up any terms you don't know or remember -- a medical dictionary is very very helpful for that. If you have a good buddy that also prepares for the NCLEX you can study together for a couple of hours and share books/questions that way. Hope that helps and good luck !
