Hello people...
There was a news regarding CGFNS denying VisaScreen Certificates for Philippine Nurses who passed the June 2006 Philippine Licensure Examination  Here's the link: CGFNS International
Unfortunately, I'm one of them!!!
Here's my dilemma, CGFNS services are needed for validation of international profession credentials and others.....The requirements for Illinois are only CES, TOEFL and NCLEX, right? Because I'm already processing my CES with CGFNS, would they stop processing my application even I have paid for it and would I still be needing that VisaScreen Certificate even it's not required by the State of Illinois?
But with what I've heard, all foreign graduate nurses who wish to work in the US need to get a VisaScreen Certificate first. Is this true all the time?
How about those who didn't pass the local board exam in the Philippines but are applying in other states that only require NCLEX and IELTS/TOEFL only?....Would they still be needing the VisaScreen Certificate?
Hope you could give light on this....
Thanks

Under the IDFPR site, here is a further link, toward the bottom of the main page: Professional Regulation – License Regulations – Internationally Educated Nurses Also, this may help: Email Questions about this Profession (Was listed under Licensee Services.) Please read through both links....any other questions, you may have to call..... They do get busy.
