    Medical Insurance

    Hi all,
We are planning to work as RN in florida with in 3 months.
We are very curious about their medical plans but not clear much.
They are saying that we need to pay for medical insurance.
Is it required to pay if company provides the medical insurance and it will cover my life partner and kid ?
It will help me if you explain in detailed manner.

    Re: Medical Insurance

Some companies will pay for all of your insurance, and others pay for some of it. My company pays for all of my insurance & then I have to pay $240/mo for my husband to be covered on it. Then we are responsible for co-pays- $15-20 for prescriptions, 10% for hospitalization, $20 for office visits... Every company is different, so you'll have to check with Human Resources at the company you'll be working at.
