I actually like five 8 hour shifts over 3 twelve. I get to see my kid every day, cook dinner, help with homeowrk etc.... and I'm a lot less grumpy.....

Plus I have most weekends off now which is great, but my current job is mostly administrative these days which comes with it's own headaches.

I work 12 hrs nights, I feel like it is harder than 12 hr days, to get rest. I have worked 12 hrs days and the work will kill you. You would think that after yrs your body would adjust, but it doesn't. I don't know which is worse, working days like a dog or working nights without proper rest?

Working days or nights does not faze me. Working 12 hours does not faze me. That just gives me more days to play golf. As long as I can golf, I can then work. All is right with the world. Not count BP and the Gulf which disturbs me to no end
