wanting to get back in the saddle...

Hi everyone! I'm new to this forum, so hello. Looking for some input/advice/etc. I am a seasoned ICU nurse, but have been a stay-at-home mom for the last 3 1/2 yrs. Looking to go back to the same, but wondering if anyone will want me! (Living in Pa but can work in Pa or MD) Any suggestions for recruitment or any refreshers that might be beneficial to me? I need to complete 80 hrs of CEU's first and I already hame that worked out. Thanks in advance for any advice.

    Hi Mello,

Welcome to the site. While it may feel like forever, 3.5 years is not that long to be away and so long as you focus your 80 CEUs on critical care, you should be ready to go. I recommend CCRN certification because not only will your skills get a good work out, it will increase your marketability.

    Good luck,

    R
